David is a crime thriller writer. His published books include the Manchester based Mason and Sterling series and the Antonia Conti series set in London. His next three books are also set in Manchester and feature homeless private eye Victor and his dog Oscar. Book one, Missing, will be out in early 2026. Originally from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, He lives in Manchester, his adopted home since 1984. 

Before becoming an author, David worked in the fire service for almost twenty years before leaving to set up a sunglasses import business.
